Jan Stevenson
Jan’s introduction to Bowen Therapy was by receiving a treatment for a long term problem. The exceptional results from this gentle art resulted in Jan studying Bowen Therapy to Practitioner level. This proved a natural progression to a keen interest in alternative health care. Working steadily within the community has seen her helping people from many walks of life achieve happier, healthier bodies using the techniques learnt. A home clinic allows greater flexibility in meeting clients’ needs. Jan has upgraded her level of Bowen Therapy qualifications by attaining a Diploma of Bowen Therapy and through further training in Fascial Kinetics Bowen Therapy.
Vivian Lyall
As a registered Bowen Therapist with advanced training, I am passionate about helping people live pain-free lives, with improved mobility and overall wellbeing. My journey in body therapy began in 1999 as a massage therapist specialising in acupressure. I then expanded my expertise to include Reiki in 2000 and Thai massage in 2001, deepening my understanding of holistic healing.
My discovery of Bowen Therapy was a turning point. After years of struggling with unresolved carpal tunnel syndrome and facing the prospect of corrective surgery, I tried Bowen Therapy as a last resort. Remarkably, after just three treatments, I was functioning normally and have been pain-free ever since. This experience inspired me to become a Bowen practitioner so I could share its benefits with others. In 2016, I became a registered Bowen Therapist, and I have since completed advanced training. I am continually amazed by the capacity of Bowen Therapy to resolve both chronic and acute conditions, and I am committed to being a lifelong student of this modality.
